LEO I. SELIGSON, 93, of Farmington
Hills, died June 12, 2009.
He began his career as a work glove
salesman and eventually became co-
owner of Today's Bride with his wife,
Ruth. He was an active volunteer with
the Radiology Department at Henry Ford
Hospital in West Bloomfield.
Mr. Seligson is survived by his children,
Susan and Barry Jacobs of McLean, Va.,
Steve and Dawn Seligson of Walled Lake
and Jane and Jon Goldman of Ashland,
Ore.; grandchildren, Wendy and Jason
Armstrong, Josh and Lori Jacobs, Sam and
Erica Jacobs, Emily and Ben Smith, Rachel
and Gabe Molnar, Cory and Tyler Norman,
Aaron Goldman, Zara Seligson; great-
grandchildren, Zeke Armstrong, Emma,
Lydia and Hazel Jacobs, Jack and Charlie
Smith; brother, Joe Barnes.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Ruth Seligson; the dear brother and
brother-in-law of the late Nettie and the

late Max Gottlieb; the devoted son of the
late Ida and the late Julius Seligson.

CHARLES SNIDER, 94,
of West Bloomfield, died
June 9, 2009. He was an
attorney and real estate
investor.
Mr. Snider is sur-
vived by his wife, Leah

Snider
Fleischmann; grand-
children, Michael, Jonathan, Manuel and
Naomi Fleischmann; brother and sister-
in-law, Arthur and June Snider.
He was the loving father of the late Martha
Jo Fleischmann and was one of 10 sons of
the late Isaac and the late Leah Snider. •

ALFRED "SONNY"
WEISS, 87, of
Plantation, Fla., died
June 14, 2009.
A veteran of World
War II, Mr. Weiss fought
in the Battle of Bulge. He
was the former owner
Weiss
of United Dairies Inc.,
which was a family business founded in
the 1920s.
He is survived by sons and daughters-
in-law, Steven and Linda Weiss of West
Bloomfield, Dr. Matthew Weiss and Dr.
Jean Nelson of Fenton and Richard and
Donna Weiss of Birmingham; grandchil-
dren, Samantha and Jeffrey Weiss, Jordan
Quilico, Jessica and Jacob Weiss.
Interment at Oakview Cemetery.

ELAYNE WOLFSON, 80, of Farmington
Hills, died June 10, 2009. She was the
executive director for the Jewish Sports
Hall of Fame. She was also an avid sports
fan and enjoyed the Red Wings, Tigers and
especially the Pistons.
Mrs. Wolfson is survived by her son,
Ira Wolfson of Westland; daughter, Jodi
Galassi of St. Clair; grandchildren, Joshua
Berkau, Danielle Galassi, Ashley Galassi,
Marissa Wolfson, Shawn Wolfson; great-
grandson, Jonah Beaver; sister, Donna
Horwitz of Arizona.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Marvin Wolfson.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.
