BBYO members presented a $1,640 donation to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance, which promotes ovarian cancer research, early detection and support for cancer patients. BBYO members chose this organization for their annual regional gift to honor Lindsey Rosenberg, BBYO pro- gram associate, who is being treated for ovarian cancer. In addition, scholarships were awarded to three members for BBYO summer pro- grams. Jackie Colvin received the Arline Vivian Moss Scholarship. Marissa Quigg received the Matthew Doren Leadership Beaumont WEST BLOOMFIELD AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER, LLC Award, named in memory of Matthew Doren, who was active in AZA in 1991-92. Samantha Dines received the Evan Shapiro Leadership Award, named in memory of Evan Shapiro, who was AZA regional president in 1994.
