Anti-Defamation League

grew up in Birmingham, attending Seaholm High
School. As a young man, he attended Camp Tamakwa, which formed
the basis for his 1993 film Indian Summer. His first screenplay, Coupe
de Ville, premiered March 9, 1990, and his HBO stand up comedy
special was broadcast the following night. Mike's directorial debut was
1992's Crossing the Bridge. He co-wrote, co-directed and starred in
HBO's The Mind of the Married Man. He won Best Film and Best Actor
at the 2001 Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen for his film The Sex
Monster. Mike wrote and directed 2005's The Upside of Anger, star-
ring Joan Allen and Kevin Costner, 2006's Man About Town with Ben
Aftleck, and Reign Over Me with Adam Sandler, in 2007. Mike was
featured in Steven Spielberg's Minority Report and Rod Lurie's The
Contender. He is currently filming Rebecca Miller's The Secret Lives
of Pippa Lee with Robin Wright Penn, Alan Arkin, and Julianne Moore.
