persons camp in Gunzberg, Germany. He is National President of the Zionist
Organization of America (ZOA:), the oldest pro-Israel group in the U.S., founded in
1897. His successful campaigns against anti-Israel bias in leading textbooks. travel
guides, universities, churches, and the media. as well as his work on Capitol Hill.

MC Huron Valley-Sinai's
Legacy Golf Classic and Gala
Tribute on Tuesday, June 16,
will honor orthopedic surgeons Mark
Kamil, M.D., and his late father, Richard
Kamil, M.D. The golf outing, with a
shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., will be held
at Tanglewood Golf Course, 53503 W. 10
Mile, South Lyon.
The strolling din-
ner, music and tribute
program will follow
at 6:30 p.m. at Huron
Valley-Sinai Hospital,
1 William Carls Drive,
Commerce.
Individual tickets
for 18 holes of golf
begin at $250 and
gala tickets begin at $150. Both events
are open to the general community and
sponsorship packages are available.
Proceeds from this year's Legacy
Golf Classic and Gala Tribute will help
underwrite a mini C-Arm for the oper-
ating room and will initiate the Kamil
Orthopaedic Education Fund. The
mini C-arm x-ray equipment displays
images during podiatric and orthope-
dic surgery. The Kamil Orthopaedic
Education Fund will be used for profes-
sional development for the hospital's

orthopedic staff.

a member of
the medical
staff of Huron
Valley-Sinai.
The late Dr.

a Commerce resident, is vice chief of
orthopedic surgery at Huron Valley-
Sinai Hospital.
Steve Arbit, M.D., and Danny
Benjamin, M.D., are co-chairs of the
2009 Legacy Golf Classic. Maxwell
Jospey and Stanley Levy, M.D., are the
Tribute Gala co-chairs. Dr. Mehmet
Bayram is serving as the honorary
chair and Merle Harris, Huron Valley-
Sinai board chair, and Lynn Torossian,
hospital president, are the day's honor-
ary vice-chairs.
