Stars like Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria
Parker and Carrie Underwood have
walked the red carpet wearing Naeem
Khan's Indian-influenced designs—
they've even been featured on the cover
of Platinum. Now his work was the talk
of the catwalk during a fashion show
and luncheon to benefit the Michigan
chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis

Foundation.
About 220 people attended the
May 7 event at Oakland Hills Country
Club in Bloomfield Hills, including the
designer himself Jean Dubin and Carol
Roberts, both of Bloomfield Hills, and
Nanci Kantor of Bloomfield Township
served as co-chairs. The show, spon-
sored by Saks Fifth Avenue, helped raise

more than 525,000.
"Especially in this tough economy;
we were thrilled the event was sold out,"
said Gilda Hauser, the local CCFA
chapter's development director. "Funds
raised will help find a cure for Crohn's
disease and ulcerative colitis and also will
support and educate patients battling
these often debilitating diseases." --

both of Bloomfield Hills
