Jenna Micheal
Kaplan will celebrate
her bat mitzvah
Saturday, May 23, at
Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield. She is the
daughter of Jackie and
Justin Kaplan and the
Kaplan
sister of Jaren. Her
grandparents are Debi
and Larry Kaplan and Amy and Rick
Rodriguez; her proud great-grandpar-
ents are Harry Kaplan, Ester Kaber and
Jackie and Jim Wilenius. She is also the
great-grandchild of the late Thelma
Kaplan and the late Marty Kaber.
Jenna attends Sarah Banks Middle
School in Walled Lake. She volunteered
at Beth Hayeled Shaarey Zedek Camp
Keshet, a summer camp for young
children, and felt this was a meaningful
mitzvah project.

Hannah Rose Shink, daughter of David
and Rhonda Shink and sister of Kyra,
will be called to the Torah on Saturday,

May 23, at Temple
Shir Shalom in West
Bloomfield. She is
the granddaughter of
Ronald and Barbara
Cohen and Patricia
Shink and the late
Ronald Shink.

Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. For part of her mitzvah
project, she has been making bracelets to
give to children in treatment at Children's
Hospital of Michigan in Detroit.

Jodi Fay to Adam Michael Robin, son of Mr.
Neal Robin and the late Susan Robin.
Jodi received her undergraduate degree
from the University of Michigan and her
juris doctor from Emory University School
of Law in Atlanta, Ga. She is a corporate
associate with Reed Smith LLP in Chicago.
Adam received his undergraduate degree
from the University of Michigan and will
receive his doctor of medicine degree from
Wayne State University in Detroit at the end
of May He will begin his residency in neuro-
surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit at the end of June.
A May wedding is planned at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills.

elen and Benjamin Iden of West
Bloomfield are delighted to

daughter Jamie Cheryl Iden to Sean Kenneth
Strasberger, son of Cheryl Lerman of East
Lansing and Fred Strasberger of Farmington
Hills.
Jamie received her bachelor's degree from
Michigan State University in East Lansing in
elementary education; she is pursuing her
master's there in literacy instruction. She is
also signed to several talent agencies and is
taking acting classes.
Sean received his bachelor's degree from
Michigan State University in special education; he is pursuing his doctorate
there in special education. He also writes and performs original music.
A summer wedding is planned in East Lansing.
