at Congregation
Beth Ahm in West
Bloomfield. She is the
daughter of Nancy
Adler
and Jeffrey Adler and
the sister of Mitch
and Eden. Proud grandparents are
Libby Newman and Elana and Sandor
Adler. She is also the granddaugh-
ter of the late Lawrence Newman.
Thrilled great-grandmother is Sylvia
Abramovitz.
Jesse is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. She took part in a
number of mitzvah projects, includ-
ing participating in a program at
Farmington Hills Public Library,
where kids read to Jesse and her certi-
fied therapy dog, Shadow, to improve
their reading skills.

25, in a family-led
service at the West
Bloomfield JCC. He

West Bloomfield, and Roz and Milt
Spencer of Agoura Hills, Calif.
Jesse is a seventh-grader at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. He enjoyed volun-
teering at the West Bloomfield-based
Friendship Circle this past year.

will be his brothers,
Jordan and Matthew. Proud grandpar-
ents are Betty Shipper and Cantor and
Mrs. Joseph Birnholtz. Eric is also the
grandson of the late Earl Shipper.
Eric attends Cranbrook-Kingswood
Boys Middle School in Bloomfield
Hills. His most meaningful mitzvah
project was volunteering at Shaarey
Zedek's Beth Hayeled summer camp.

Annie Jill Cohen
will be called to the

Southfield on
Saturday, May 23. She
is the daughter of
Cohen
Nita and Allan Cohen
and the sister of Ari.
Proud grandparents are Elaine and
Carl Cohen and Beryl Perlman. Annie
is also the granddaughter of the late
Gerald Perlman and the late Barnett
"Bob" Abromovich.
Annie is a student at Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. Her most
meaningful mitzvah project has been
working with special needs children
through the West Bloomfield-based
Friendship Circle and the Links pro-
gram at her school.

in West Bloomfield
Friday, May 22, as
Cumbo
he celebrates his bar
mitzvah. He is the
brother of Rachelle Emerling and Ben
Emerling. His proud grandparents are
Sally Davis, Robert Davis and Joan
Cumbo. He is also the grandchild of
the late Milton Cumbo.
Nathan attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. He felt
helping at Temple Israel during the
Housing of the Homeless was his most
significant mitzvah project.

Daniels (Chana

her bat mitzvah on
Saturday, May 16,

Daniels
Southfield. She
is the daughter of
Lisa Daniels and Ken Daniels and the
sister of Jamie. Her grandparents are
Renee and Howard Tward and Marvin
Daniels. She is also the granddaughter
of the late Gerald Greenberg and the
late Sylvia Daniels.
