diamond heart pendants to the child
cancer patients participating in the
Kids Kicking Cancer program to help
them celebrate Mother's Day with their
moms.
"These children and their families
have been fighting the battle for so
long. The love these mothers express
for their children during their obstacles
in life is absolutely tremendous. I want
to help them celebrate Mother's Day in
a special way. Every mother deserves

a 'thank you' on this special day,"

Tapper's has raised $37,427 since
2002 for Kids Kicking Cancer by col-
lecting donations in the store. Kids
Kicking Cancer is a nonprofit organiza-
tion that provides weekly classes for
children, both inpatient and outpatient,
in the mind-body techniques found
in the martial arts. The mission is "to
ease the pain of very sick children
while empowering them to heal physi-
cally, spiritually and emotionally"
