Pittsburgh, Pa., died May 13, 2009.
She is survived by her children, Rena

Friedman; brother, Sanford Middleman;
grandchildren, Katie (Michael) Marcus,

Surrena and Jesse Davidow; great-grand-
children, Honey, Nili and Shaylee Marcus
and Caden Burger; nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Davidow was the beloved wife of
the late Lester Davidow; sister of the late
Florence Zeff and the late Harriet Bazer.
Graveside services were held at
Kether Torah Cemetery in Pittsburgh.

JUDITH BRASS DRESNER, 93, of
Bloomfield Hills, died May 15, 2009.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Carol and Jerry Berhorst of
Bloomfield Hills; sister, Sylvia Roth of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Scott Dresner,
Alisa (Will) Campbell and Lisa Dresner;
great-grandchildren, Austin Dresner,
Jordyn and Alexa Dresner; many loving
nieces, nephews, other family members
and friends.
Mrs. Dresner was the beloved wife of
the late Albert Dresner; mother of the late
Richard Dresner.
Interment at the Beth El Memorial Park
in Livonia. Contributions may be made to

RHODA COGGAN GRUSHKO, 74, of
Texas, died suddenly on Mother's Day,
Sunday, May 10, 2009.
She was born in Detroit on April 21,
1935.

Jaclyn, Jenna, and Jill Schappa, Sarah,
Daniel and Natalie Weisfeld, Peter, Samuel,
and Rebecca Wooten, William, Andrew;
favorite pup, Lexie Marks; brother and sis-
ter-in-law, Dr. Larry and Marci Coggan of
Commerce Township; sister-in-law, Sylvia
Kopel of Northridge, Calif.; sister-in-law
and brother-in-law, Doris and Dr. Harold
Luria of West Bloomfield; many loving
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her
beloved husband of 46 years, Leonard A.
Grushko; loving parents, Esther and Dr.
Samuel Coggan; in-laws, Rebecca and
Peter Grushko; and granddaughter, Dana
Weisfeld.

DR. LAWRENCE ROBINSON KLEIN, 58,
of Bowling Green, Ohio, died May 14, 2009.
A clinical psychologist, Dr. Klein was the
director of Imagine Psychological Services.
He graduated from the University of
Michigan in 1971 with a B.A. degree and
from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
in 1979, receiving his Ph.D. With 30 years
of experience, Dr. Klein was a licensed
psychologist in the state of Ohio and a
supervisor, teacher and trainer of other
therapists.
He was former clinical director of
Wood County Mental Health Center,
former director of Toledo-Area Family
Institute (a center for training in fam-
ily therapy), former staff psychologist of
Children's Resource Center, a past presi-
dent of the Ohio Society for the Study of
Multiple Personality Disorder, a member
of American Psychological Association,
a member of American Association of
Marriage and Family Therapy and a mem-
ber of the International Society for the
Study of Trauma and Dissociation.
Dr. Klein authored The Kingdom. He
lived courageously for 22 years with M.S.
and continued his professional activities
even into 2009. He had a love for music
and a passion for writing professionally
and also for enjoyment.
He is survived by his daughters and
a son-in-law, Caitlin Klein and Joseph
Malcoun of Ann Arbor and Julia Klein
of Chicago: wife, Ann Peters; sisters
and brothers-in-law, Ilene and Richard
Harris, Susan and Peter Friedman, Nanci
and Martin Hochroth; nephews and
nieces, Edward Harris, Marisa Harris, Alex
Hochroth and Jaden Hochroth.
Dr. Klein was the beloved father of the
late Cyndee Klein.
Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

MALCOLM Z. LEVENTER, 91, of
Southfield, died May 14, 2009.
He is survived by his daughters and

daughter-in-law, Alan and Julie Leventer
of New York, N.Y.; devoted friend and

Mr. Leventer was the beloved husband
of the late Beatrice Leventer.

Department for the News/Free Press.
