LEWIS AARON BARR, 66, of Canton,
Ga., died April 27, 2009. He was in
computer sales.
Mr. Barr is survived by his wife,
Sandra Harris; son, Alan Barr of Ohio,
daughters and son-in-law, Rabbi
Pamela Silk and Jeffrey Silk of Texas,
Tracey Barr of Northville; grand-
children, Sean Barr, J.J. Silk, Ava Silk;
sister, Audrey Goldberg of Georgia;
sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy
and Mike Black.
He was the dear brother-in-law of
the late Daniel Goldberg.

She is survived by a son, Ronald
Feinberg of West Bloomfield; seven
grandchildren; niece, Janet Liebow.
Mrs. Feinberg was the wife of the
late Samuel Feinberg; mother of the
late Rabbi Harvey Feinberg; sister of
the late Leah Fisher.

Bloomfield, died
May 5, 2009.
He was a talented
lawyer, music afi-

joke teller and devoted Red Wings fan.
He battled with substance abuse and
depression throughout his life; his
family is comforted by the thought of
him finally being at peace.
Mr. Frumkin is survived by daugh-
ters, Rachel Pitt and Jessica Frumkin;
son-in-law, Adam Pitt; grandchildren,
Mia and Aiden Pitt.
He was the son of the late Marilyn
and the late Sidney Frumkin.

RUTH KOVAN, 90, of West Bloomfield,
died May 7, 2009.
She was a 23-year volunteer at Sinai
Hospital, a life member of Hadassah,
life member of Congregation Beth
Ahm and a lifelong learner.
Mrs. Kovan is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Richard and
Lynne Kovan of the United Kingdom;
daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and
Ronald Cohen of Vermont, Linda
Kovan and Walter Blank of Maryland;
grandchildren, Rebecca Cohen, Jessica
and Allen Hutcheson, Hannah Cohen,
Jonathan Blank; great-granddaughters,
Lily and Martha Hutcheson; brother,
Ervin Manson of West Bloomfield; sis-
ter-in-law, Sara Manson.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Coleman Kovan; loving sister of the
late Annette "Honey" Zeigler and the
late Sheldon "Buddy" Manson; dear
sister-in-law of the late Maurice Zeiger
and the late Shirley Manson.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
