ebbie and Jeff Supowit of
Farmington Hills and Steven
and Beth Weiss of Buffalo, N.Y.,
proudly announce the engagement of their
children Shana Ashley Supowit and Allen
Lloyd Weiss.
Shana graduated from the University
of Michigan with a bachelor of business
administration. She is a financial analyst at
ValStone Partners in Birmingham.
Allen also graduated from the University
of Michigan and received a bachelor of sci-
ence in economics and math. He is a trea-
sury analyst at GMAC in Detroit.
An August wedding is planned.

Marks-Swedler

r. Amy Marks and Aaron Swedler
were recently married at Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield. Rabbi
Harold Loss, Rabbi Paul Yedwab, Rabbi
Josh Bennett, Rabbi Jennifer Kaluzny and
Cantorial Soloist Nell Michaels officiated.
Amy is the daughter of Carolyn and
Steven Marks of Farmington Hills. Aaron is
the son of Nancy Swedler of Boyton Beach,
Fla., and Steven Swedler of Akron, Ohio.
The bridesmaids were Rabbi Jennifer
Kaluzny, Dr. Jill Beck, Dr. Catherine
L'Armand, Dr. Christina Nordt, Jaime
Grodsky, Lisa Mensch, Maria Sinanis and
Julie Trepeck.
The groomsmen were Andrew Marks, Dr. David Swedler, Brian Fox, Jared Fox,
Jason Kirsh, John Lerner, James Sitterly and Jeffrey Taylor.
Amy and Aaron were honored to have their grandparents Milton Marks, Claire
and Wilbur Turner and Sara Swedler participate in the ceremony.
After the honeymoon in Santa Barbara, Calif., the couple reside in
Beachwood, Ohio.

Frank-Miller

r. Irving and Marcia Miller of
Farmington Hills are delighted
to announce the engagement
of their son Stephen Miller to Ellen Frank,
daughter of Sam and Linda Frank of
Libertyville, Ill.
Stephen earned his B.S. in engineering at
the University of Michigan, his law degree at
U.C. Berkeley and his master's in teaching at
the University of Chicago. He is a mathemat-
ics teacher at Morton West High School in
Berwyn, Ill.
Ellen received her B.A. in economics from
Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and her
MSW from the University of Chicago. She is working on her Ph.D. in social wel-
fare at the University of Chicago.
A July wedding is planned in Evanston, Ill.
