Congratulates Herman College!
The Israel Sci-Tech Network-the largest science and technology school system in Israel-
proudly announces that its Hermelin College has achieved academic accreditation from
Israel's Council for Higher Education, joining the ranks of Israel's most elite academic
colleges,
Thanks to the vision of the late philanthropist. David Hermelin, of Detroit, Michigan and
under the leadership of Zvi Peleg, Director General of the school network, Hermelin College
has today become a state of the art academic center poised to train tomorrow's leading
engineers and scientists.
Starting in November, 2009, Hermelin College will offer a B.Sc. degree program in mechanical
and medical engineering. Funding is sought for student scholarships and advanced
laboratory equipment.
The Friends of Israel Sci-Tech Schools continue to help schools like Hermelin College.
