of the JTS Great Lakes Region office
in Bloomfield Township.
Locally, JTS activities are led
by the Detroit cabinet chaired by
Norma Dorman and Steve Weisberg.
This year's dinner chair is Robert
Goodman with Roz Blanck and Jodi
Goodman as associate chairs.
The May 5 gala will be held at
B'nai Moshe. Money raised there
will go for student scholarships at

Bais Chabad Bible Course
The Hyman and Sonia Blumenstein
Outreach Institute of Sara and Morris
Tugman Bais Chabad Torah Center,
together with Federation's Alliance for
Jewish Education, is offering the new
JLI course, "Biblical Reflections: Find
Yourself in the Stories of Genesis:'
The course will deal with the quest for
love, purpose, identity and redemption.
It will explore the inner obstacles that
threaten these goals: lust, greed, hatred
and jealousy.
