As a public school student, I joined the Academy's very first class because I

heard the teachers were great. I found the personal interaction with my

teachers empowering. After graduating from Emory University in 2007,

I entered Stanford University to pursue a Ph.D. As an aspiring professor, I'm

eager to teach my future students in the same way my Academy teachers
