DR. GERTRUDE JEAN LEVE GORDON,
93, of Tucson, Ariz., died March 28, 2009.
She had her doctorate in special edu-
cation from Wayne State University and
was the principal of Helen Field Learning
Center in Detroit. She was an accom-
plished singer and pianist and began her
professional career singing in Washington,
D.C., and Detroit. She was a former mem-
ber of Temple Beth El.
Dr. Gordon is survived by her two
daughters, Toba Blum-Shiefman of Tucson
Samara Wilder of Sedona, Ariz.; grand-
daughter, Briana Neeley; great-grand-
daughter, Brodie; brother and sister-in-
law, Jack "Sonny" Leve of Oak Park.
She was the beloved daughter of the late
Samuel and late Molly Zeitman; sister of
the late Beryl Leve.
Contributions may be made to

Southfield, died March 31, 2009.
She is survived by her sons and

son-in-law, Andrea and Bryan Bier of West
Orange, N.J.; grandchildren, Amanda and

Raphael Bier, Yaakov Riphoel, Emunah,
Natanya, Brittany, Gabriella, Zachary.
Mrs. Herschfus was the beloved wife
of the late Dr. Leon Herschfus; loving
mother of the late Dr. Raphael "Maurice"
Herschfus; dear sister of the late Avrum
Harris, the late Louis Harris; loving grand-
mother of the late Lauren Bier.

Mr. Mostyn is survived by his wife,
