Hair For Cancer Victims
Adat Shalom Synagogue, in con-
junction with the Pantene Beautiful
Lengths program and the American
Cancer Society, will hold a communi-
ty-wide hair-cutting event to provide
hair for wigs for women and children
who have lost their hair due to cancer
treatment.
This event is 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, May 13, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue in Farmington Hills.
Madison Marcus, an Adat Shalom
youth adviser is organizing the program.
Stylists from the Ruby Blu Salon in
Farmington Hills will be on hand to
cut and style donor hair.
Hair must be at least eight inches in
length. Colored hair is acceptable, but
it must not be bleached. Hair may not
be more than 5 percent gray.

Pre-Pesach Buffet Dinner

A&J Kosher Catering at Adat Shalom
Synagogue in Farmington Hills will
hold a pre-Passover kosher buffet sup-
per on Monday, April 6, from 6 to 8
p.m.
Included are a salad bar, chicken,
Salisbury steak or whitefish entrees,
whipped potatoes, green beans, pasta
and dessert. Cost: $18, adults; and $8
for children 6-12.
A&J is offering carryout kosher
chicken dinners for Tuesday, April 7.
Order by April 5, for pickup Tuesday.
