Obituaries Obituaries from page C41 JACK STONE, 87, of West Bloomfield, died March 27,2009. He immigrated from Lublin, Poland, in 1928. He graduated from Cass Tech in Detroit and with a bachelor of electri- cal engineering degree from Lawrence Technological University in 1943. He served in World War II as engineer on the Manhattan Project at Los Alamos. Mr. Stone was an electrical engineer at Ford Motor Company for 36 years in research and development of manufactur- ing processes. He received an award from the Roon Paint Society for an invention. He was actively involved in the American Technion Society as a founder and board member and was also a member of many Jewish and community charities and orga- nizations. He was a member of Temple Kol Ami and the Torah Study Group. Mr. Stone is survived by his loving wife, Edith; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Sidney and Betty Stone of Farmington Hills; sister, Marcia Parven of Bloomfield Hills; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Donna Berman, Gerald and Vered Berman; loving nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; devoted caregiver, Jamal Muhammad. He was the dear brother-in-law of the late Howard Parven. Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her devoted nephew, Tony Payson; his children, Anthony Payson, Marc and Sara Payson, David Payson; Marc and Sara's children, Abigale and Nicolas Payson. She was the beloved wife of the late Mathew Wolfe; loving sister of the late David Polasky, the late Lourine Polasky and the late Alfred Payson. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
