HERBERT ISRAEL
LEFKOFSKY, 77, of Oak Park,
died March 17, 2009. He was a
residential real estate broker.
Mr. Lefkofsky is survived by
his son and daughter-in-law,
Mitchell and Sally Lefkofsky of
New Jersey; daughter, Sandra
Lefkofsky of Massachusetts;
grandson, Jonah Lefkofsky;
brother, Michael Lefkofsky of
Huntington Woods.
Interment at Clover Hill Park

HAROLD MARK, 88, of Ann
Arbor, died March 17, 2009.
He was a veteran of World War
II and served as a corporal in the
Army Air Corps. A retired man-
ager of a lumber company, he was
a member of Temple Beth Emeth
and served as secretary to the
board of directors; he was hon-
ored for his service to the temple.
Mr. Mark was a member of the
American Legion, DeMolay and
the Jewish Community Center. He
volunteered at the University of
Michigan McDonald House.
He is survived by his wife,
Bernice F. Mark; daughters, Betsy
Y. Mark and Ann Mark: son and
daughter-in-law, Ira B. and Sarah
V. Mark; granddaughter, Rachel R.
Mark; sisters and brothers-in-law,
Shirlee Weingarten, Geraldin and
Marvin Rudd, Harriet and Arnold
Usem.
Mr. Mark was the dear father-
in-law of the late Edward Pirtle;
the loving son of the late Betty
and the late H.M. Mark; the dear
brother of the late Ruth Karon;
the treasured brother-in-law of
the late Paul Weingarten and the
late Dr. Irvine Karon.
Interment at Arborcrest
Cemetery. Contributions may
