She is the sister of Liza and Abby. Participating in the service will be her proud grandparents Rhoda Brickner and Jack Friedman. She is also the grandchild of the late Daniel Brickner and the late Joan Friedman. Kathryn attends West Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Her favorite and most meaningful mitzvah project was volunteering on Sundays at Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield. Nathan Mitchell Raine, son of Heidi and Andrew Raine and brother of Adam, will lead the congregation at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Raine Friday, March 27, as he celebrates his bar mitzvah. Sharing in the celebration will be his proud grandparents Marcia and Salem Bashara and Ruth Raine. He is also the grandson of the late Abraham Raine. His proud great-grandmother is Selma Gold. He is also the great- grandson of the late Seymour Gold. Nathan attends East Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. Among his many mitzvah projects, he felt it was most meaningful to call and run senior bingo at American House. Rachel Nicole Harvey, together with her parents, Lisa Rosen and Michael Harvey, will celebrate her bat mitzvah Saturday, March 28, at Temple Harvey Israel in West Bloomfield. She is the sister of Gabby and Noah and the grandchild of proud grandparents Fay and Paul Rosen and Jane and Michael Harvey. Rachel is a student at Warner Middle School in Farmington Hills. She did many mitzvah projects but chose as her most meaningful the experiences at Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield. Carly Danielle Yashinsky (Tzila Danielle), daughter of Susan and Robert Yashinsky, will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, March Yashinsky 28, at Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Township. Celebrating with Carly will be her sister Alyse. Her proud grandparents are Ann and Jerry Ruben and Selda Feinberg. She is also the grandchild of the late Seymour Feinberg. Carly attends Birmingham Covington School and has particu- larly enjoyed volunteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley as part of her mitz- vah experience. Jacob George Lutz, son of Linda and Daniel Lutz, will be called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday, March 28, at Congregation Shir Tikvah in Lutz Troy. Sharing in the celebration will be brothers Michael and Adam and proud grandparents Sheldon and Gail Lutz and Sheldon and Mari Kaftan. Jacob is also blessed with great-grandmother Annabel Topper. Jacob is a student at Derby Middle School in Birmingham. His most meaningful mitzvah project was participating in the annual Fame Games for developmentally disabled persons.
