COOPERMAN, 88, of
West Bloomfield, died
March 10, 2009.
The owner of
Ace Furniture and
Appliances in St.
Petersburg, Fla., he
Cooperman
was also a Navy vet-
eran of World War II,
as well as a member
of the Jewish War Veterans and Temple
Beth El.
Mr. Cooperman is survived by his
children, Susan and Mark Levine of
Marietta, Ga., Harriet and Dr. Norman
Rotter of Bingham Farms, Judy and
Richard Komer of Bloomfield Hills,
Dr. Jeffrey Band and Meredith Weston-
Band of Royal Oak and Bunny Band; 17
grandchildren; seven great-grandchil-
dren; sister, Doris Alpert of Altamont,
Fla.; sister-in-law, Lea Sandler.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Muriel Cooperman and the late
Dorothy Band Cooperman.
Interment at Memorial Park in
