ore than 300 fash-
ion fans showed
up to cheer on teen
models from B'nai B'rith Youth
Organization (BBYO) as they
walked the runway in hot fash-
ions for spring at the annual
"Fashion Unleashed" program
March 7 at Orchard Mall in West
Bloomfield.
Clothes were provided by area
retailers including Moosejaw,
Shirt Box, Fox Formal Wear, the
Tennis & Golf Company, Don
Thomas, Yoga Shelter, Eleganza,
Sally's Designs, Maria's Bridal
Couture, Annie Sez and Guys
N' Gals. Lois Levenson, owner
of Guys N' Gals, served as com-
mentator.
Proceeds from the fundrais-
ing event will benefit Michigan
Region BBYO, which serves
more than 1,000 Jewish teens
each year through leadership,
community service, Jewish
education, social and athletic
programs.
Jodi Tobin of West Bloomfield
chaired the event. She was active
in BBYO in high school and now
serves as vice chair of the BBYO
Commission, an advisory board.
The event was sponsored
by the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit, B'nai
B'rith International Great Lakes
Region and the IN's Platinum
and Teen2Teen publications.
