She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Jan. 24, 1915. Following her Slabosky graduation from the University of Chattanooga, Ms. Slabosky moved to Detroit and was a social worker with Jewish Family Service. Later in life, she was an associate with Star Sales Company of Knoxville, Tenn. She enjoyed performing skits for groups of friends, including one about re-uses for old pantyhose. Ms. Slabosky was married to Louis Slabosky for 52 years and together they raised three children, Helen (John) Gean of North Hollywood, Calif., Pesach (Nomi Bruckmann) of Jerusalem, Israel, and Arthur (Robin Winner) of East Lansing. Survivors include her grandchildren, Michael Slabosky of Warren, Beverly (Alon Bassok) Slabosky of Seattle, Yosef Slabosky and Daniel Slabosky, both of Jerusalem, Israel, and Gabriel Slabosky and Ethan Slabosky, both of East Lansing; and two great grandchildren.
