Ruth HaberkornHalm of West
Bloomfield are delighted to announce the
engagement of their children Ann Miriam
Hazan and Joshua Avi HaberkornHalm.
Ann received her B.S. in nutritional sci-
ences from Michigan State University in East
Lansing and her doctor of dental surgery
degree from the University of Michigan
School of Dentistry. She is completing a
general practice residency in dentistry at the
University of Toledo Medical Center.
Joshua received his B.A. in international
relations and political economy from the James Madison College at Michigan State
University and is graduating from the University of Toledo College of Law in May.
A May wedding is planned at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield.

Foltyn were recently married at Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield. Rabbi Joshua
Bennett and Neil Michaels of Temple Israel
officiated with Rabbi Dannel Schwartz of
Temple Shir Shalom, West Bloomfield.
The bride is the daughter of Carole
Borlack of West Bloomfield and the late Saul
Borlack. The groom is the son of Leah and
Paul Foltyn of Rochester Hills.
Amber Brown, cousin of the bride, was
matron of honor. Marla Myerson, friend of
the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids
included Hilary Borlack, sister-in-law of the
bride; Staci Davis and Lissa McGirt, cousins of the bride; Julie Peysakhov and
Chana Cohen, friends of the bride. Brian Foltyn, brother of the groom, was best
man. Groomsmen were Scott Borlack and Darin Borlack, brothers of the bride,
Josch Banfield and Allan Kochanek, friends of the groom.
The groom's nieces and nephews — Abby Foltyn, Lily Foltyn, Eli Foltyn and
Evan Foltyn — were flower girls and ring bearers. The bride's nephew Dustin
Borlack announced them as a couple.
Jamie and Bradley were honored to have grandmother Josephine Krauss par-
ticipate in the wedding.
Following a honeymoon on a Mediterranean cruise, the couple reside in
Birmingham.
