Makenna Lyn
Calvert will be
called to the Torah
as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Feb. 14,
at Congregation
B'nai Moshe in
West Bloomfield.
Calvert
She is the daughter
of Nikilyn Calvert
and Quentin Calvert and the sister of
Sean and Charlie Brandt. Sharing in
her joy will be grandparents Francine
and Arnold Disner and Shizue

Calvert. Makenna is also the grand-
daughter of the late Quentin Calvert
and great-granddaughter of the late
Marion Wirt.
Makenna attends Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Her most meaningful mitzvah
project has been the Locks of Love
campaign.

r. Harvey and Adrianne (Drexler)
Goldstone of Huntington Beach,
Calif., formerly of Detroit, are
pleased to announce the marriage of their
daughter Susanne to Evan Rosenhouse, son
of L. Minton and Marilyn Rosenhouse of
Dallas, Texas.
Susanne's late grandparents are David and
Frieda Drexler and Alexander and Esther
Goldstone. Susanne and Evan had a sunset
ceremony overlooking the ocean at the Hyatt
Regency Resort and Spa in Huntington
Beach. Rabbi Mendel Dubrawsky from the
Chabad of Dallas officiated the ceremony.
Evan's brother Michael was master of ceremonies and brothers David
Rosenhouse, Alan, Brian and Scott Goldstone held the chuppah.
Susanne earned her degrees in political science and Judaic studies at Yeshiva
University and is the social media director for the National Jewish Outreach
Program in New York.
Evan has his bachelor of science in accounting and is pursuing both his rabbinic
ordination and master's of social work degrees at Yeshiva University in New York.
Susanne and Evan reside in Upper Manhattan.

eather Michelle Victor and Scott
Paul Leshman were married
at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in
Dearborn. Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantorial
Soloist Neil Michaels of Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Howard and
Gail Victor of West Bloomfield. The groom is
the son of Howard and Barbara Leshman of
Waterford.
Heather is a recent graduate of the
International Academy of Design and
Technology in Troy, where she received a
bachelor of fine arts degree with honors in
fashion design and merchandising.
Scott is a graduate of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, where he
earned a bachelor's degree in finance and business, and a secondary education
degree in teaching from Wayne State University in Detroit.
Heather is employed as a fashion merchandiser at several boutiques in
Birmingham. Scott is employed at GLP & Associates Inc. as a retirement specialist.
The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas and now reside in Berkley.
