elda Miller Bean celebrated her
90th birthday Jan. 24 with her
children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren at a Shabbat dinner
at the Meer Jewish Apartments in West
Bloomfield, where she resides. The celebra-
tion also included a party at the Townsend
Hotel in Birmingham, hosted by her chil-
dren, Eleanor Hack, Dr. Donald and Sheilah
Miller of Los Angeles and Dr. Richard and
Sarah Nadine Blum of Woodbridge, Conn.
Her grandchildren are Kathy Hack, Danielle
and John Sprecher, David and Lauren Hack,
Shayna Blum of San Francisco, Josh Blum,
Rachel and Ian Fischler and Dr. Sarah Miller, all residing in Los Angeles. Great-
grandchildren are Shoshana Sprecher, Noah Hack and Abigail and Benjamin
Fischler. Also joining in festivities were Lester and Marcia Weiner, Mrs. Beans'
brother and sister-in-law. To honor their grandmother's birthday, the grandchil-
dren purchased the Wii machine for the Meer Apartments.

daughter Lori Ellen to Kevin Douglas Miller,
son of Arlene Miller of Novi and the late
Victor Miller.
Lori received her B.S. degree in social
work from Eastern Michigan University in
Ypsilanti. She is employed at David Wachler
and Sons Jewelers in Birmingham.
Kevin attended Western Michigan
University in Kalamazoo. He is employed at
Atlas Plumbing Supply in Detroit.
An August wedding at Knollwood Country
Club in West Bloomfield is planned.
