During the summer, Lori planted a field of

sunflowers and zinnias to act as a backdrop

for the ceremony. Four 20x20 white frame

tents covered the buffet tables, dance floor

and dining tables, which were graced with

floor-length white linens, dishes, silverware,

glasses and white wooden folding chairs for

dining, all from Canton Canopies. Robyn's

dad, Steve, was in charge of bug control,

spraying the yard and setting up citronella

candles and torches. Favors for the guests

included personally initialized wine charms

set at their place at the table, fans with a

picture of the bride and groom drawn by

ring bearer Connor and bags of candy to

take home labeled with the names of the

bridal couple. A candy bar, in honor of the

groom's love of the sweet stuff, was set up

in the home's lower level, along with the

wedding cakes, and included University of

Michigan and University of Oregon football

cookies and glass beakers and bowls filled

with a dozen kinds of candies, many of them

island-themed. Valet parking by Star Trax.
