Bloomfield, died Jan. 27, 2009.
A photographer, Mrs. Aaron
worked with Cradle Pictures for many
years. She was also a member of B'nai
B'rith.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Lou and Debi Aaron
of Farmington Hills; grandchildren,
Jeremy Aaron, Wendy Aaron, Jaime
and Jay Davey, Jonathon and Danielle
Aaron; great-granddaughter, Eleanor
Aaron; sister-in-law, Dorothy Aaron.
Mrs. Aaron was the beloved wife of
the late Cecil Aaron; loving mother of
the late Frederick Aaron.
Interment at Nusach Harie
Cemetery. Contributions may be

SIDNEY COHN, 89,
of West Bloomfield,
died Jan. 28, 2009.
He was born in
Detroit in 1919. He
grew up in Detroit,
graduated Central
High School and
Cohn
from the Detroit
College of Law with a juris doctor. In
1943, He was admitted to practice in
front of the United States Supreme
Court as well as the U.S. Court of
Military Appeals.
Mr. Cohn practiced law in the fam-
ily law firm of Shapero & Shapero
and subsequently was affiliated with
Honigman, Miller, Schwartz & Cohn
and was of counsel to Butzel Long,
where he practiced in the Detroit area
until his death.
In World War II, he served his
country as a naval officer and contin-
ued in the reserves for many years,
retiring with the rank of lieutenant
commander.
He was a president of B'nai Brith
Henry Morgenthau Lodge. A pas-
sionate sportsman, he owned and
bred several champion harness race
horses. He was also an avid golfer; he
made two holes-in-one in his career.
He will always be remembered for
not only thinking of other people
first but for a generous heart beyond
compare.
His family found him to be beauti-
ful on the inside as he was handsome
without.
Mr. Cohn is survived by his daugh-
ters, Gail Palmer of Rochester, Lynn
Rae Lowe of Arizona, Wendy Cohn
of Copenhagen, Denmark; son and
daughter-in-law, John and Franny
Cohn of Telluride, Colo.; 13 grand-
children; 17 great-grandchildren;
younger brother, Henry Cohn of
Southfield.
He was the husband of the late
Beverly Shapero Cohn; father of the
late Janice Morganroth.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

HOWARD N. EHRLICH, 78, of
Chicago, Ill., died Jan. 30, 2009.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Marilyn Ehrlich; son and fiancee,
Mark Ehrlich and Susan Matyus of
Chicago; brother Arthur Ehrlich;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Ernie (Gloria) Solomon, Robert
(Marilyn) Solomon, Emily (Sonny)
Rogow, Margie Gold and Eadie (Ira)
Albion; many loving nieces, nephews,
other family members and friends.
Mr. Ehrlich was the dear brother of
the late Edith Faustrom.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery
in Ferndale. Contributions may be

ALICE FELDMAN, 79, of West
Bloomfield, died Feb. 2, 2009.
She was a life member of Sharona
Chapter Na'amat USA. Mrs. Feldman
is survived by her devoted husband,
Meyer "Mike" Feldman; sons and
daughters-in-law, Howard Feldman,
Dr. Marc and Beth Feldman, David
and Sandra Feldman, Joseph
Feldman; daughters and sons-in-law,
Esther Feldman and Steve Simon,
Rosalyn and Dr. Ron Suprenant; sis-
ter, Anne Berman; 13 loving grand-
children; also survived by Penny
Feldman, Kimberly Feldman.
She was the sister of the late Paul
Weinner and the late Edith Koffler.
