ROBIN RATH, 56, of Warren,
died Jan. 21, 2009.
He is survived by his son,
Timothy Rath of Warren; daugh-
ters, Emily Robyn Rath of Warren
and Katie Lynn Rath of Warren;
mother, Betty Rath of West
Bloomfield; sisters and brother-
in-law, Judy and Harvey Blavin
of Bloomfield Twp., Lisa Polk of
West Bloomfield; many other lov-
ing family members and friends.
Mr. Rath was the dear son of
the late Frank T. Rath.
Interment at the Adat Shalom
Memorial Park Cemetery in
Livonia. Contributions may be
made to Naamat USA, to the
Karmanos Cancer Institute
or to a charity of one's choice.

RUTH REISTMAN-
KARABENICK, 91, of Southfield,
died Jan. 21, 2009.
A lifelong resident of Detroit,
she had been a manager of a law
office and had previously par-
ticipated in running American
Bakery, a family business located
in the Polish community. A mem-
ber of Congregation Shaarey
Zedek, B'nai Torah in Boca
Raton, she was also a member of
Hadassah.
Mrs. Reistman-Karabenick is
survived by daughters and sons-
in-law, Linda and Ronald Benson
of Ann Arbor, Patty and Howard
Maziar of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchil-
dren, Adam and Gabriella Benson,
Abigail and Steven Karasick,
Aaron and Heather Benson,
Michelle Maziar and Michael
Maziar; great-grandchildren,
Maya and Theodore Karasick
and Jacob Benson and Madeline
Benson; niece and nephew, Karen
and Allen Litwack.
She was the beloved wife of
the late Maurice Reistman for
56 years and the late George
Karabenick.
Interment at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
