Three-dimensional artists from as far away as Japan show the products of their talents — albeit temporarily — using the medium of ice for the 27th annual Plymouth International Ice Sculpture Spectacular. More than 100 statues can be seen in the heart of Plymouth with spectators invited to come early and watch the carving techniques used by pros and students. The event, run- ning Jan. 23-25, will feature projects made from single blocks of ice as well as multiple blocks numbering five-100. Single blocks can weigh 330 pounds.
