BARBARA
"BOBYE" GREEN,
91, of Jupiter,
Fla., formerly of
Woodland Hills,
Calif., and a long-
time resident of
Detroit, Oak Park
and Southfield, died

Dec. 13, 2008.
A native of New York, she came to
Detroit with her husband, Harry P., in
the early 1940s and raised her children
in the Detroit-Oak Park area.
"Bobye" was the bookkeeper for
Sibley Shoes for over 17 years until 1971.
She then ventured into business with
her daughter, Carole, and opened Bobye
Green's Better Half Fashions in Berkley.
She remained in business until 1980.
She and her husband decided to
retire and follow their daughter and
grandchildren to California, where
they lived until 1996. When their
daughter and son-in-law moved to
Florida in 1995, they once again decid-
ed to follow.
They lived the remainder of years
surrounded by their children, grand-
children, great-grandchildren and
other family members. Mr. Green

passed away Feb. 13, 2005.
Mrs. Green is survived by her
daughter and son-in-law, Carole
and Chuck Roover of Jupiter, Fla.;
son, Stephen Green of Rancho Santa
Margarita, Calif.; grandchildren,
Kevin Raub of Jupiter and Bryan Raub
of Northridge, Calif.; great-grand-
children, Cody and Dalton Raub of
Jupiter; extended family, Greg Roover
of Jupiter, Jodi, Matt, Jamie and Shaye
Golden of Birmingham, Mich.
She was the beloved wife for over 64
years of the late, Harry P. Green; cher-
ished grandmother of the late Jason
and the late Jeffrey Green; sister of the
late Oscar Entel and the late Lawrence
"Larry" Entin; daughter of the late
Jennie and the late Hyman Entin;
daughter-in-law of the late Rose and
the late Max Green.
Private services and interment were
held at the Star of David Cemetery
and Funeral Chapel of Palm Beach.
Contributions may be made to Hospice
of Palm Beach, the American Cancer
Society or a charity of one's choice. To

84, of Oak Park, died Dec. 28, 2008.
He is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law, Robert and Beth
Horowitz of Georgia; daughter and
son-in-law, Elise and Dr. Phil Case of
New Jersey; sister and brother-in-law,
Eve and Murray Lieberman of Detroit;
sister-in-law, Doris Horowitz; grand-
daughter, Laurie Case; many loving
nieces and nephews; dear friends,
Larry and Rita Weiner.
Mr. Horowitz was the beloved hus-
band of the late Phyllis Horowitz; dear
