I hope you don't mind, but in honor of this personal milestone, I thought I would depart from my usual Question & Answer format to talk a little bit about the expe- rience of having the opportunity (and privilege) to answer your nutrition questions in the JN. My first article appeared in the Jewish News on September 2, 2004, as a biweekly item. In early 2006, it became a weekly fixture on the inside front page, where it resides today. Over time the article has gone through some design changes and from black and white to -, v full color—with a few dif- ferent pictures thrown in along the way (which sometimes generated more comment than the articles did!). Which gets me to the point of today's musing: I want to take this oppor- tunity to sincerely thank everyone (and there are many of you) who over the years have read the articles and even been so kind as to have said nice things about them. I particularly want to thank those of you who took the time/ effort to submit a question, which I continue to do my very best to answer. Your interest in all things nutrition is what inspires me to continue doing this. Thank you! — Barbara Beznos, Registered Dietitian Happy Hanukkah! Integrated Nutrition, LLC, 32401 Northwestern Hwy.
