George's Honey Tree offers all-you-can-eat treats.

It's the first time for what looks
to be a booming, ongoing weekly

favorite.
After many moons at the former
Farmington Hills location comes another
biggie ... and after more than three
years since opening on Northwestern in
West Bloomfield under the new name of
George's Honey Tree.
And if folks are still hungry when leav-
ing, it's their own fault ... That's how
much food is on the all-you-can-eat
Sunday Brunch put out by Executive Chef
Jerry Sanchez and owner George Lukaj.
But there aren't too many diners going
away hungry of the almost 250 guys and
gals who jam the place every weekend from
10 to 2 for more than 20 items including
salmon, chicken piccata, pancakes, waffles,
omelets to order, blintzes, etc. ... In fact,
at $9.95/adults, $5.95/ages 5-10, and free
for those under 5, there's enough vittles for
families to amply fill their bellies until din-
nertime ... George's Honey Tree's regular
menu is also available.
Also recently installed was Chef Jerry's
new all-you-can-eat Thursday Pasta
Station from 5:30 to 8 ... Five styles of
pasta (Chicken Marsala, shrimp, etc.),
soup, salad, four sauces, garlic bread and
the same prices as Sunday brunch ...
Both Brunch and Pasta Station are visited
in an area up front. Nobody cares how
many times you go up for seconds, thirds
or whatever, and George's Honey Tree's
fine wait staff is there to help.
