Lebowitz-Rosenfeld

S

usan Beth Rosenfeld, daughter of
Dr. David and Joan Rosenfeld of
Princeton, N. J., and Steven Michael
Lebowitz, son of Fredric Lebowitz of Novi,
were married recently. Steven is also the son
of the late Ainsley Lebowitz.
Rabbi Harvey Rosenfeld, uncle of the
bride, and Rabbi Abigail Treu, a childhood
friend of the bride, officiated at the Hudson
Theater in New York City.
The bride, a graduate of Princeton High
School, received a B.S. degree in commu-
nications and a minor in art history from
Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
She works in the corporate headquarters of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in the Human
Resources Department.
Mr. Lebowitz, a graduate of West Bloomfield High School, earned a bachelor's
and master's degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of
Michigan. He is vice president of the Accounting and Finance Department for the
Equity Derivatives Sales and Trading business of Societe Generale' s corporate and
investment banking division.
The couple honeymooned for two weeks in Turkey and now reside in New York City.

H

arold and Temmie Lempert
of West Bloomfield celebrated
their 50th anniversary on Nov.
16. Their children Carol Lempert, Scotty
Watson, Sheldon Lempert, Jodi Miller,
Mark Lempert and Marci Grossman,
hosted a wonderful party at the Edgewood
Country Club, Commerce. Adding to the
festivities, their grandchidlren, Jacob, Jacqui,
Mackenzie, True, Evan, Lucas, Eric and
Chayse, entertained with a hilarious skit of
their lives together, written by son-in-law
Scotty Watson.

velyn and Fred Freeman of
Farmington Hills are delighted to
announce the engagement of their
daughter Erica Renee Freeman to Jeffrey
'Gordon Lawson, son of Gale Klein and Larry
Lawson, both of West Bloomfield.
Erica, a University of Michigan gradu-
ate, received her medical degree from
Washington University in St. Louis. A pedia-
trician in Seattle, she will begin a fellowship
in pediatric rheumatology at the University
of California, San Francisco.
Jeff received a. dual degree in computer
science and film and video studies from the
University of Michigan. He is an entrepre-
neur, who started Versity.com, Nine Star and Twilio.com.
A New Year's Eve wedding at Congregation Shaarey Zedek Southfield is planned.
