ROSE MARKLE, 96, of
West Bloomfield, died
Nov. 16, 2008.
A retired secretary
from Mumford High
School, Mrs. Markle was
an active volunteer with
the Deaf Community
Advocacy Network.
She is survived by her children, Lynne
and Phil Warheit of Highland Beach, Fla.,
Gerald Markle and Fran McCrea of San
Francisco; grandchildren, Marcy and Tom
Colton, Glenn and Felicia Warheit and
Linus Markle; her "four greats", Scott,
Dayna, Michael and Jennifer; sister-in-law,
Yetta Bachrach.
Mrs. Markle was the beloved wife of the
late Sidney Markle; the loving sister and
sister-in-law of the late Anne and the late
Nate Adelman, the late Samuel Bachrach,
the late Harry and the late Lillian Markle,
the late Lou and the late Ida Markle and
the late Anne and the late Art Rubin.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial

MILTON SCHLAFER, 90, of Texas, died
Nov. 2, 2008. He was a carpet salesman.
Mr. Schlafer is survived by his daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Joyce Word of Texas,
Arlene and Billy Kingston, Leslie and
Paul Faulkner; sons and daughter-in-law,
Randy Schlafer of Berkley, Steven and
Julie Schlafer of West Bloomfield; grand-
children, Breanna Word, Bradley and
Scott Schlafer, Eric and Wendy Kingston,
Robbie, Corey and Jonathan Faulkner.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Ellen Schlafer; dear brother of the
late Harold Schlafer and the late Leonard
Schlafer.
Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

ERIC J. SIEGEL, 56, of Troy, died Nov. 12,
2008.
He was a mechanic and owner of

Siegel's Auto Service.
Mr. Siegel is survived

He was the loving son of the late Carl
Siegel.

ter, Elaine Sarko of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grand-
children, Evan Rollet and Shawna Rollet;
many loving nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
He was the brother-in-law of the late
Manny Sarko.
Interment at the Adat Shalom Memorial

Mrs. Zatkoff was the beloved wife of the
late Barney Zatkoff.
