project was helping to paint a mural at
Meer Apartments in West Bloomfield,
beautifying the complex for the
seniors who live there.

Jessica Paige Levine
will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitz-
vah on Saturday, Nov.
22, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. She is the
daughter of Michele
Levine
and Dr. Robert Levine
and the sister of
Allison. Jessica's proud grandparents
are Myrna and Cliff Klayman and Lois
Levine. She is also the granddaughter
of the late Lilo Klayman and the late
Seymour Levine. Sharing in her sim-
chah will be her great-grandmother
Ruth Ryshen.
Jessica attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. She felt
it especially meaningful to make
dolls for children in the hospital for
Hadassah House, West Bloomfield, as
one of her mitzvah projects.

Havdalah services

at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield. Sharing in the sim-
chah will be grandparents Sandy and
Richard Schram and Sandy Miller and
very proud great-grandmother Addie
Kurtz. Connor is also the grandchild of
the late Dennis Solomon.
Attending Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield, Connor
volunteered at the Friendship Circle
program in West Bloomfield and felt
this was the most meaningful of all his
mitzvah projects.

Claire is an eighth-grade stu-

projects, she most enjoyed volunteer-
ing with Temple Kol Ami's religious
