annual Chanukah event for moms

Max M. Fisher Federation Building
in Bloomfield Township.
Imprint a tile with one's child's
hand or foot through Creative Arts
Studio for $10 each, sing Chanukah
songs, share stories and have treats.
The cost is a new, unwrapped gift
(valued at up to $10) for a child in
need to enjoy on Chanukah.

Education, Women's Department
and Young Adult Division.

Interfaith Thanksgiving

in an interfaith celebration of
Thanksgiving at the Westminster
Presbyterian Church, 17567
Hubbell at Outer Drive in Detroit
on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 7:30 p.m.
The location is across from the for-
mer Sinai Hospital site and has two
well-lit parking lots.
This marks the 22nd annual
occasion for about a dozen reli-
gious and cultural communities to
unite in worship and celebrate. This
year's theme is "From Every Tribe,
Race and Nation: We, the People."
Readings, usually involving the
congregation, and musical selec-
tions will be chosen and offered by
Buddhist, Muslim, Bahai, Roman
Catholic, Protestant, Sikh, Jewish
and Native American communities.
Aiding URJ Camp George
Rabbi Paul Yedwab of Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield has been
appointed to the URJ Camp George
steering committee. He'll aid Jewish
programming and recruitment and
will act as liaison with Detroit rabbis.
Each year, Temple Israel sends
40-50 kids to the
northern Ontario
camp. He joins
Temple Israel
Rabbi Rob Morais
and Carol LoPatin
of Temple Shir
Shalom in West
Bloomfield on the

committee.
