SHEILA FIDELMAN, 83, of South Haven, died Oct. 31, 2008. She, along with her late husband, Irving Fidelman, were owners of Fidelman Fidelman's Resort in South Haven. She was the gracious hostess at Fidelman's Resort, which was originally founded by Morris and Belle Fidelman. Although it began as a farm in 1911, it soon after started taking in borders and became a popular vacation spot for families from Detroit and Chicago from the 1950s until it was sold in 1980. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Barry Fidelman of South Haven, Michael Fidelman of Grand Junction, Mich., and Charles (Bonnie) Fidelman of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Jasmine, Ben and Anna Fidelman, Suzanne, Alexis, William and Josh Fidelman, Hannah Fidelman. Mrs. Fidelman was the beloved mother of the late Allen Fidelman. Interment at the First Hebrew Congregation Cemetery in South Haven.
