Ann Arbor Book Fair

Washtenaw County JCC welcomes
readers to 21st annual festival.

Ann Arbor

effrey Zaslow, Wall Street
Journal columnist and
co-author of The Last
Lecture will be the featured speaker
at the Washtenaw County Jewish
Community Center's 21st Annual
Jewish Book Festival sponsor night on
Sunday, Nov. 9. His free talk will be at
7:30 p.m. (A paid sponsor event at 6
p.m. precedes his speech.)
The Ann Arbor festival, currently
under way, continues through Monday,
Nov. 17, at the Washtenaw JCC, 2935
Birch Hollow Drive. On tap are talks by
15 national and local authors as well
as a event featuring 11 local writers.
Running concurrently to the Metro
Detroit JCC's Jewish Book Fair, the
Ann Arbor counterpart provides
alternative opportunities to hear
some of the same authors — as well
a half-dozen writers unique to the
Washtenaw County JCC festival.
All author presentations are free
and open to the community.
There is a charge for food at seven
lunch and learn programs and for the
Hadassah/ORT Book Club dinner on
Nov. 11. Reservations for these events
can be made with the Washtenaw
County JCC, (734) 971-0990.
