W bile battling melenoma, Dell Warner, 83, is still pursuing her love of artis- tic expression by organizing an eclec- tic multimedia art exhibition at Teitel Hebrew Senior Residence in Oak Park. "Within These Walls" will run Nov. 10-14 in the Winter Garden of Teitel, on the A. Alfred Taubman Jewish Community Campus. Warner is a retired television pro- ducer whose credits include WDIV- Channel 4's Coming of Age. She has enlisted Teitel artists Joel Boykin (videographer), Elizabeth Conley (still photographer) and Ted Hadfield (art installation) to partici- pate in the show. Russian American residents at Teitel have been invited to submit their creations as well. "Residents and visitors will experi- ence the pleasure of a mixture of art they had never known;' said Warner. "The professionals who have joined me in their exploration and repre- sentation of those who lived 'Within These Walls' will have given the com- munity a happening!' She's hoping Teitel and the Taubman campus becomes a spot for enter- tainment for seniors and the general public. Bloomfield Hills philanthropist A. Alfred Taubman underwrote the exhi- bition.
