Ari is a student at Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills. He is
proud of his mitzvah project work
with disabled children through the
Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield.

Nov. 8. She is the
daughter of Audrey
Klayman
and Brian Klayman
and the sister of Becca
and Drew. Her proud grandparents are
Myrna and Cliff Klayman. She is also
the granddaughter of the late Katherine
and the late Robert Richman and the
late Lilo Klayman.
Hannah attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. Among her
mitzvah projects, she helped out with
Farmington Hills-based JARC.
Evan B. Lipsitz, son
of Lori and Mark
Lipsitz, will read from
the Torah on the occa-
sion of his bar mitz-
vah Friday, Nov. 7, at
Temple Israel in West
Bloomfield. He is the
Lipsitz
grandson of Bertha
and Max Epstein and
Mollie and Harry Lipsitz.
Evan attends Clifford Smart Middle
School in Walled Lake. Doing demolition
and neighborhood clean up as a volun-
teer for Motor City Mitzvah Day was the
experience he felt most meaningful.
Jonah Peritz Nitzkin (Meyer Label)
will be called to the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 8, at
Congregation Beth Shalom in Oak
Park. He is the son of Julie and Gary
Nitzkin and the brother of Rachel.
Sharing in this simchah will be proud
grandparents Marilyn and Harold
Peritz and Florence
and Donald Nitzkin.
Jonah is a sev-
enth-grade student
at Yeshivat Akiva in
Southfield. His mitz-
vah project has been a
yearlong collection of
returnable cans and
bottles. He will donate
the proceeds to the "Send a Kid to
Tamarack Camp" fund so that no child
will be denied a Jewish camping experi-
ence based on finances.
Jared Matthew
Rotenberg will lead
the congregation at
Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield as
he celebrates his bar
mitzvah Friday, Nov. 7.
He is the son of Terri
Rotenberg
and Mark Rotenberg
and the brother of
Olivia. Included in the simchah will
be his grandparents Flora and Harold
Cherny, Emily and Norman Rotenberg,
and Zona and Richard Ribiat as well
as great-grandmothers Sarah Galer
and Ida Cherny. He is also the great-
grandson of the late Louise and the late
Manuel Rotenberg, the late Ida and the
late Fred Herbst, the late Norman Snitz
and the late Sigmond Cherny.
Jared attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. Among his
various mitzvah projects, he felt volun-
teering for a week at Friendship Circle
summer camp in West Bloomfield was
the most meaningful.
