She is the sister of Isabel and Abigail. Very proud are grandparents Susie and Jerry Gold, Elaine Brickman and great- grandmothers Estelle Moggel and Ruth Schneyer. She is also the granddaugh- ter of the late Murray Brickman. Rachel attends Orchard Lake Middle School in West Bloonifield. Her mitz- vah projects included supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. , '11, Steven Blake Epstein will read from the Torah as he celebrates his bar mitzvah Saturday, Nov. 8, at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. He is the son of Lori Epstein and Mark Epstein and the brother of Michael. Proud grandparents sharing in this simchah will be Ray Epstein and Phyllis and Bunny (Bernard) Grossman. Steven is also the grandson of the late Saul Epstein and the late Albert Shifman. Steven is a student at Warner Middle School in Farmington Hills. He felt his most meaningful mitzvah project was volunteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley. Evan Bradley Fischer, son of Robert Fischer and the late Nancy Fischer, will read from the Torah at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Fischer Saturday, Nov. 8, as he celebrates his bar mitzvah. He is the brother of Emily. His proud grandparents are Marti and Albert Fischer and Sema Yarost. Evan is a student at Walnut Creek Middle School in Walled Lake. He felt it was meaningful to work as a volunteer at Temple Israel's Labor Day Fair. Hannah Aviva Gould, daughter of Karen Gould and Seth Gould and sister to Ben, will celebrate her bat mitzvah at Havdalah ser- vices Saturday, Nov. Gould 8, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek Southfield. Hannah's proud grandpar- ents are Jules Altman and Rubyjean and Richard Gould. She is also the granddaughter of the late Deborah Altman. Hannah attends Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills. Her most meaningful mitzvah project was making and selling jewelry to raise money for cancer research. Jaclyn Brooke Jasgur will be called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills. Sharing in this joyous occasion will be her parents, Renee and Ron Jasgur, sister Taylor and brother Matthew. Proud grandmothers are Harriet Jasgur and Elaine Brickman. Also celebrating will be great-grand- mother Ruth Schneyer. Jaclyn is also the granddaughter of the late Dr. Murray Brickman and the late Robert Jasgur. Jaclyn is a student at Geisler Middle School in Walled Lake. She felt work- ing at the Friendship Circle in West Bloomfield was the most meaningful of her mitzvah experiences.
