Gillian Sophia Tyner
(Sophia Chaim),
together with her
parents, Rick and
Sheila Tyner, and
sister Mallory, will
celebrate her bat
mitzvah at Adat
Tyner
Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills
on Saturday, Nov. 1.
Also sharing in the simchah will be her
grandmother Rosalie Gold, safta Sandra
Tyner and great-grandmother Henrietta
Levine. Gillian is also the granddaughter
of the late Fay Kanar, the late Allen Tyner
and the late Burt Gold.
Gillian is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. For one of her many
mitzvah projects, she raised money for
multiple sclerosis by participating in a
dance marathon.

Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield.
He is the brother of
Seth and Drew and the grandchild
of Nancy and Charles Olender, Dr.
Richard Levine and Muriel Warren.
He is also the grandchild of the late
Richard Warren.
Zachary attends Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield. His
most meaningful mitzvah project was
volunteering as a summer day camp
counselor at the Friendship Circle in
West Bloomfield.

ding anniversary on Oct. 24. Their children and grandchildren wish

the Villages, Fla., will celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary
with family and friends Dec.
17-21 in Florida. Their children
are Andy and Wendy Ziegler of
West Bloomfield, and Sondra and
Adam Lewinson of Los Angeles.
Their grandchildren are Hayli
and Mikael Ziegler and Ameila
Lewinson.
