Jewish owners Rita Neff and Loretta Globersen opened the shop more than 30 years ago. They developed a niche in Oakland County to offer everything for children in one location. They thrived and sold the store to a young Chaldean woman, Shams Jaboro (sec- ond from left), about five years ago. "Our new location will specialize in infant wear and gifts:' said Jewish employee Shelley Wish Chaness (right). The store offers a layette depart- ment; clothing for boys and girls; an expanded gift department, many items of can be personalized by an on-site artist while you wait; and accessories. Prices range from $10 up. Jaboro's staff includes Chaness and two other Jewish women, Joyce Danuloff (left) and Marilyn Belin (second from right). "The store is indicative of the wonderful diversity that can be found throughout West Bloomfield:' Chaness said.
