on Saturday, Oct.
4. He is the son of
Kahn
Elaine and Richard
Kahn and brother of
Joshua and Solomon. Proud grand-
parents are Barbara Kahn of Bonita
Springs, Fla., and Rosalie Sosnick of
Oak Park. He is also the grandson of
the late Sherwood Kahn and the late
J.C. Sosnick.
Joe attends Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. Among his many mitzvah proj-
ects, his most meaningful was par-
ticipating in the recent local protest of
the scheduled appearance of Iranian
leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the
United Nations.

his proud grandparents Joan Brand,

and Leslie and Jerry Brand. He is the
great-grandchild of the late Mary and
the late Herman Winer, the late Ann
and the late Phillip Kollin, the late Eva
Berke, and the late Lillian and the late
Louis Brand.

Oct. 4. Sharing in this
special day will be
his proud grandparents Marilynn and
Edward Skulsky and Tomo and William
Lee. He is also the grandchild of the late
Milton Kellam.
Derek is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield.
Among his many mitzvah projects,
he felt volunteering at Gleaners
Community Food Bank, boxing food,
was the most meaningful.

food kitchen in Israel.

grandchild of MaryAnn Harrell, Sheila
Kirsch and the late Jacob Kirsch. Her
great-grandparents are Lula and Perry
Harrell and Mary Kovacs.
Gabrielle attends Oak Valley Middle
School in Commerce Township. Among
various mitzvah projects, she felt vol-
unteering at Friendship Circle in West
Bloomfield was the most meaningful.
