DR. ARTHUR MOSS, 77, former Detroiter
of San Francisco, died Sept. 4, 2008.
He graduated from University of Iowa
School of dentistry and had a long career
as a dentist. He was a leader and educator
in his field.
Dr. Moss is survived by his loving for-
mer wife, Susan Donahue of Green Brae,
Calif., mother of Adam Moss; son, Adam
of Oakland, Calif.; daughter, Michelle
(Eric) Murphy of San Francisco; grand-
children, Grace and Haley Murphy; sister,
Adelle Robins; brother and sister-in-law,
Richard and Judie Moss; many loving
nieces and nephews.
He was the loving son of the late Pearl
and the late Aaron Moskovitz; brother of
the late Samuel Moss; brother-in-law of
the late Edith Moss and the late Simon (Si)
Robins.
A memorial service and interment were
held in Marin County, Calif.

TERRANCE "TERRY"
O'CONNOR, 72, of
Southfield, died Sept. 17,
2008.
He is survived by his
wife of 35 years, Patty
O'Connor of Southfield.
Mr. O'Connor was the
beloved son-in-law of
the late Alice and the late
William Kaufman.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial

PHILIP PLOTNICK, 85, of Bloomfield
Hills, died Sept. 15, 2008.
He is survived by his niece, Joyce
and Dr. William Ruskin of Commerce
Township; sister and brother-in-law,
Lillian and Joseph Myers of Commerce
Township.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Interment at Hebrew
Memorial Park. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

HERMAN YAGODA, 81, former Detroiter
of Baltimore, Md., died Sept. 18, 2008.
He is survived by his daughters
and sons-in-law, Suzanne and Steven
Bornstein of Sharon, Mass., and Elise and
David Joffe of Owings Mills, Md.; sister,
Luba Haftka of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother-
in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill Haftka,
Eddie Goldman, Rosalie Dean; grandchil-
dren, Daniel Bornstein, Ryan and Emily
Joffe; many generations of loving nieces
and nephews.
He was the beloved husband of the late
Molly (Dean) Yagoda; brother of the late
Sam Yagoda, the late Jack Yagoda, the late
Esther Brady and the late Gerry Goldman;
brother—in-law of the late Harold Dean.
Services were held at King David
Memorial Chapel-Las Vegas, Nev.
Interment at King David Memorial
Cemetery, Las Vegas. Contributions may
