Focus On Women's Health
The vision of Providence Park
Hospital is to create a community
cornerstone that delivers the
latest thinking in patient care.
Nowhere is that more evident
than on the hospital's third floor,
which is dedicated entirely to
women's health services.
"It is our goal to provide the
most comprehensive health care
services for women in the region,"
says Rochelle Igrisan, director of
women's services at Providence
Park.
The unique floor includes a
birthing center with 27 labor/
delivery/recovery/post-partum
rooms, or LDRPs, rooms with
sleeping areas for spouses and
families, and family spaces with
refrigerators, coffee pots and
microwave ovens. The unit also
features two operating rooms for
caesarean-section births.
A 15-bed special care nursery
includes spaces for parents to
stay in the room with their babies,

Hospice Hosts Fundraiser
The Detroit-based Hospice of
Michigan will host its Crystal Rose
Ball at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at
Lovett Hall Ballroom in the Henry
Ford Museum, 20900 Oakwood Blvd.,
Dearborn.
Jewish honorees include:
• Outstanding Volunteer Award,
Sanford J. Linden, board of trustees
member and longtime hospice friend.
• Outstanding Community Partner

ing the Bone & Joint Surgery
Center of Novi; and a new physi-
cian-owned Park Medical Offices
