Drs. Joel Topf and Susan Steigerwalt are pleased to
announce the addition of Dr. Chris Provenzano to
the Farmington Office of St Clair Specialty
Physicians.

Dr Provenzano is a Detroit native who is returning
from his nephrology training at Albert Einstein
College of Medicine in New York following his
internal medicine training At Beaumont Hospital in
Royal Oak.

All of the nephrologists at the Farmington office
have hospital privileges at Beaumont, Providence
and Botsford.The outpatient clinic specializes in all
aspects of nephrology including chronic kidney
disease, anemia treatment, vascular access,
hypertension and ambulatory blood pressure
monitoring.

But that's changing at the
Children's Hospital of Michigan in
Detroit, where patients can now
watch their favorite movies or lis-
ten to music during MRI scans. In
late June, the hospital installed a
cutting edge CinemaVision Audio-
Visual System to help entertain
children during the often-tedious
test.
CinemaVision lets kids strap
on a high-tech headset with ear-
phones that deliver symphonic
digital sound and "goggles" that
produce a high-resolution digital
image similar to watching a 62-
inch screen from less than six feet
away.

ing."This was something we've
wanted for a long time. It's been at
the top of our list."
Magnetic Resonance Imaging
(MRI) tests combine a large magnet,
radio frequencies and a computer to
produce detailed images of organs
and structures within the body.
Unfortunately, MRIs are extremely
sensitive to motion and require
patients to remain still throughout
