the engagement of their daughter
auren Andrea to Wesley Scott Herrin, son
of Ronald and Phyllis Herrin of Troy.
Lauren received her bachelor of arts
in communication from Michigan State
University. She is an account executive at
Marx Layne Marketing & Public Relations
in Farmington Hills.
Wesley received a bachelor of arts from
the University of Colorado-Boulder and will
graduate this December from the University
of Michigan-Dearborn with a master of
arts in public policy. He is a veterans service representative at the Department of
Veterans Affairs.
A January wedding is planned at Centerpoint in Pontiac.

r. Harry and Shifty Jubas of
Oak Park recently celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary
on an Alaskan cruise along with their
children and grandchildren. Joining them
were Sandy and Rabbi Ricky Weiss with
daughter Eliana, Jay and Rachel Jubas with
Ben, Talia, Daniel and Maya, and Mark and
Yehudit Jubas with sons Joey, Jason and
Jaden. The cruise set sail exactly 50 years
after they were married, Sunday, Aug. 17,
1958.
