ormer Detroiter Rose Levin Glaser
celebrated her 100th birthday at
the Odyssey Restaurant in Los
Angeles, Calif., on Aug. 27, with fam-
ily, friends and caregivers. Among the
celebrants were her great-niece Sandy
Gold Olmos, who flew in from Hawaii;
grandnephew, Rob Gold, who came in
from Sacramento; and grandson Barry
Dohrman, who came from Laguna.

ida Le and Jonathan Beninson
were married recently in Lyons,
Colo. Rabbi Morris of Temple
Micah officiated. Joined by family and
friends from around the world, the two
were wed under a chuppah overlooking the
Rocky Mountains.
Lida is the daughter of Binh and
Christine Le, who reside in Rydal, Pa.
Jonathan is the son of Evelyne Beninson
of Bloomfield Hills and the late Joseph
Beninson.
Lida was born in Ann Arbor and raised
in Rydal. She earned her bachelor of sci-
ence degree in neuropsychology from Princeton University in New Jersey and
is pursuing a Ph.D. in integrated physiology under the world-renowned Monika
Fleschner at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Jonathan grew up in Bloomfield Hills where he attended Cranbrook. He
earned degrees in English and business from Washington University in St. Louis
before starting a commercial real estate development company. After returning
to Wash U to get his juris doctor, Jonathan started a law office in Boulder, where
he practices intellectual property and small business law.

Lichtman 50th

ita and Bob Lichtman of
Farmington Hills celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary
on June 17. They took a trip to the Riviera
Maya, Mexico, with their children, Lori
Lichtman, Mark and Michelle Lichtman
and Steve and Tammy Lichtman. Also
enjoying the fun were their seven grand-
children, Zac, Hope, Sam, Josh, Jacob,
Maggie and Chase. While in Mexico, they
had a surprise re-commitment love cer-
emony on the beach at Tulum, Mexico.
