His Position on Iran Is Naïve and Dangerous

"Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, these countries are tiny
compared to the Soviet Union. They don't pose
a serious threat to us the way the Soviet Union
posed a threat to us," Obama told an audience
in May of this year.'

The "tiny" country of Iran is providing many of
the deadliest explosive devices used to kill U.S.
soldiers. Iran is the chief sponsor of terrorist
organizations in the Middle East. Iran's President
calls Israel a "stinking corpse" 2 and is committed
to Israel's destruction. Most concerning, Iran is
intent on acquiring nuclear weapons.

A year ago, Barack Obama said that he would
meet personally, without preconditions, with

leaders of Iran and other hostile nations to resolve
differences with the United States.'

Obama also opposes critical legislation labeling
Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization.
Pro-Israel Democrat Senators Harry Reid, Chuck
Schumer, Dick Durbin and even Hillary Clinton
all said, "yes." 4 Obama said, "no," 5 raising real
questions about his judgment and experience.

Obama has not shown the
wisdom, experience or strength
to stand up to the people who
would do us harm.
